About the Event
Sleep is one of the most important pathways to health- yet so many of us struggle to fall asleep, have disrupted sleep and wake up feeling exhausted!
When we aren’t sleeping well- it’s so hard to move through our day with much function at all! As caregivers, this is expecially challening and sometimes overwhelming!Â
So- why are so many folks stuggling with sleep, now more than ever?Â
Jessica Lemieux ( MSW, RSW) will guide us through an interactive workshop to help explain what is happening in our minds and bodies that gets in the way of a restful sleep.Â
In this workshop we will explore how all the changes in our world, the increase in digital consumption, and overall stress is impacting our nervous system.Â
The good news is- all hope is not lost! Jessica has been successfully supporting people who struggle with sleep using the practices that will be shared in this workshop!
Jessica will walk participants through multiple body and breath based exercises that will help calm and regulate the nervous system to support a restorative night's sleep.Â
BONUS: Each participant will recieve an audio recording of a sleep meditation which incorporates all of the excersies from the workshop! Â
